We wanted our attendees to get to know the incredible talent in the Artist Alley a little better, so we asked each of our artists to answer a couple questions about themselves and their art.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I love Marvel, Anime, and superheroes. I enjoy drawing people and my favorite cartoon characters into my style.

What was the first thing you made/wrote/drew?

My first piece was of my favorite local superheroes Aumakua Guardians drawn in my style.

Tell us about your creative process, from the beginning of a typical piece to its completion?

I get my inspiration from places I visit, shows that I watch, and people I talk to. The initial artwork I start on my iPad, then I finalize using my computer and pen tablet.

Who or what are your influences?

I read a lot of Charles Schultz (Charlie Brown – Peanuts) in elementary. I watched Dragon Ball Z and read Marvel Comic books in middle school. Recently I’ve been following Scottie Young and his character covers.

What plans do you have for the future of your art?

I hope to create my own animated series, comic books, and/or open up a local shop.

Do you have any good advice for emerging artists?

Continue doing what you do. Draw every opportunity you have. Keep an open mind and refine your style.

What do you hope people get out of you artwork/writing/etc?

I hope that people will find joy and laughter in my art.

To date, what works of yours are most satisfied with?

Goku-Kamehameha

Will you have any convention exclusives or deals available at CCH?

I will have an exclusive at the convention. I will also be releasing an item that people have been begging me to make 🙂

Make sure to stop by Spactana in the Comic Con Honolulu Artist Alley July 29-31, 2016!
